Closed hi-hat. I sampled all the sounds from my 1980's boss dr-220e dr. Rhythm drum machine, directly into my tascam interface, into logic pro, no processing, for your sampling pleasure. Enjoy the retro beats!.
Here is a new sound asset i made for you guys on here please note there is cursing in this sound viewer discretion may be advised don't wake the reast from peast with the snuggums luggums neepy peepie but yeah butt awesome buttastic.
This is a short loop made for a video game. A relaxing but lighthearted piece that i imagined for a menu screen or on a field/park/cutscene of some sort. It doesn't strike me as something suitable for motion, but it is available for any use.
This sound was created in audition by using three sample tracks with altered pitches for the sound of the timer countdown. I used an altered 8 bit sample for the explosion, bringing out the low range and lowering the high range with a 30 band compressor.
The djembe played by a really good musician: these are the little jewels of our studio! hear them in action: http://es. Youtube. Com/watch?v=h8rpspafgce (1'10)(44. 1khz/24bits; mono; rode nt2 and digi003 on to nuendo. ).
A "singing bowl" from nepal, played with a contrabass bow. Recorded with a neumann 184 cardioid and a focusrite scarlett, for a project in the percussion room of my university, so may have background noise. The resonance may be cut. Feel totally free to use!.
Small, six note marimba, recorded wide stereo with a sony pcm-d50. The notes are, from low to high, f, g, a, c#, d#, and f. Two samples were taken per note.
My sax player friend played a few things for me and so i sampled parts of them (fairly long parts) to share. Used a sm57 about 3 inches away from the barrel.
Kelon xylophone recorded with single neumann u-87. Very bright with sharp attack (as kelon tends to be). Cuts through a track like a hot knife through chocolate.
